The Easiest Cooking Way for You Who Live Independently

My university is far from home, in different city actually. I live near my university by myself. There are many houses that have rooms for rent like a dorm near the university (in Indonesia, we called it "kost").

As I live alone, I have to manage my money well and do all things by myself. Fortunately, I don't have to wash my clothes. They provide laundry service here. But, still, I have to cook if I don't want to waste my money.

I don't hate cooking. What I hate is the dishes I have to do after that. I always try to be as efficient as I can. Now, I'll tell you the easiest yet most efficient to cook (quite) healthy food.

Stir-fry everything!

Before that, do you what stir-fry means? At least, you know how to switch on the stove or cut the vegetables.
  1. Choose your favorite vegetables. Anything is good, but I recommend you to choose something leafy such as spinach, lettuce, or cabbage. They are cooked easily. If you choose something hard such as carrot or potato, you have to slice it thin.
  2. Choose something to compliment the vegetables. You can choose beef, chicken, meatball, sausage, or egg.
  3. Cut everything as you please! You don't have to be so neat.
  4. Take around two cloves of garlic. Peel and crush it! One more time, you don't have to be so neat.
  5. Put a wok or frying pan on the stove and switch on the stove.
  6. Pour one spoon of oil or margarine.
  7. Put the crushed garlic then wait until it browned a little.
  8. Throw the compliment ingredient, mix it with spatula.
  9. Throw the vegetables.
  10. Put salt and pepper as you like or you can put instant seasoning based on your creativity such as barbecue sauce and curry powder.
  11. Mix everything, switch off the stove, plate it!
  12. Taste it!
P.S. : Make sure that you have tomato ketchup or chili sauce just in case that your cooking aren't edible :p

How I Waste My Time Like A Girl: Rinmaru Games

I don't know if it is normal for an 18 years old girl to play this kind of game. But, who cares? (Ha! :D)
I found this website around 2 years ago and I love it so much! I think I have played all games in this website. Okay, just click it, www.rinmarugames.com :)

Cute, right?
This website has a lot of dress up games. Well, those games are incredible. They aren't childlike games. They challenge your sense of fashion and creativity!
Two girls called Rinmaru and Pichichama create most of the games in this website. T
heir games are cool. It's not enough to play each game once, you will always to explore more more and more..

Now, I will show you my most favourite game by Rinmaru.

Sci-Fi Geek Dress Up
Look! There are a lot of options.

Basically, this game is inspired by science fiction movie, comic, etc. You can create your favourite character or just created a new one! I created this one.

Get Rid of Acne with Sugar

I have a really sensitive skin and I hate it so much. My skin condition is really complex, yeah, dry but also oily. I also get some acne on my face. I had done many things, even met a doctor. Frustrated, right?

So, from a week ago, I have been trying a new method to get rid of acne. I found this method while browsing. This is the easiest method, yet quite effective. What you need is sugar!

So, this is the steps :
1. Wash your face with warm water and face cleansing foam, rinse it.
2. Don't wipe the water from your face!
3. Take a handful of sugar (sugar that you use to sweeten your tea), rub it on part of your face that got acne.
4. Wait for around 10 minutes.
5. Rinse it again with water and wipe it.

Do this everyday and you'll see the different! Your face won't be free from acne instantly, but slow but sure the acne will start to disappear. Try it :)

A (quiet) New Tourism Spot in Bandung: Lembang Floating Market

Last Christmas, my family and I went to Lembang, Bandung to spend our holiday. We visited a new and interesting place called Lembang Floating Market.
(click the link to get some information)

Yeah, this is it!
This place is quiet new, but you have to be ready to face the crowded situation in holiday season. You have to pay Rp10.000,00/person before go in. Quiet cheap, right? It's included a welcome drink such as coffee or tea that you can get for free.

After bought the tickets and parked the car, we entered the gate. As you went in, you'll see a big lake as the main part of this place. That is a pretty lake that surrounded by some trees and green grass where you can ride ship or water bicycle (of course you have to pay more!). Beside that green stuff, this lake is also surrounded by many shops those sell clothes, snacks, or some cute stuffs. You can find some restaurants around the lake too.

I suggest all of you to not eat in that big restaurant. It's not because the restaurants aren't good. It's good but ordinary. You don't have to go to a floating market to eat in a restaurant, right?

If you walk around the lake, across the entrance gate, you'll find what it means floating market. There are numbers of small ship that offer many different kinds of traditional food. Some are ordinary food like fried bananas, cakwe (chinese doughnuts), or chips. Some are quiet unusual for me and maybe for you. The way to purchase the food is unique too. You have to buy some coins before shopping (like when you play in games center). After that, use those coins to purchase things.

A bag of snails :9
That afternoon, I tried something that I never tried before, something that maybe some of you (or most of you) don't want to eat, snails! Sundanese people (a tribe in West Java) call it "tutut".

I gathered my courage and take my first snail, a small one. I tried to pick the meat inside the shell with a toothpick. It was quite tricky. Then, I brought it to my mouth. Nyum! Mm, somehow, that tasted good..

It is chewy, like eating a clam. The seasoning is light, but compliments the snail well. The most important thing is it doesn't smell fishy.

My brother told me to not use the toothpick to eat that but suck the meat from the shell. Well, challenge accepted! I took a snail and suck it. It tasted better since you can taste the soup more, and it was just extraordinary. You have to try it!

This place also sells fish food (clever!). So, after fed myself, I fed some fish in the lake. It was fun! Throw some fish food into the lake and those goldfish will brutally fight for that food. After a while, you'll see a big group of fish near you. I heard from somewhere before that fish have bad memory. They will forget what they've done. They will forget that they've eaten so much and keep eating. I'm sure that's true. I've proved it!

A unique spot that you mustn't miss is Rock Garden. What? Yeah, rock, literally rock. Normally, you'll find a garden with many pretty flowers on it, but in this garden, you'll find stones. Don't be disappointed too soon! The stones here are unique and artistic in shape.
My family and I took a picture in the "Rock" Garden
I recommend Lembang Floating Market for people who love photography. You'll have a lot of great things to capture. This place is also great for spend the family time.

My brother snapped some pictures when we went there. So, check these out!

Intro :)

Okay, this is my first time blogging. Before posting some stuffs, I think I should introduce myself.

So..
You can call me Vania (I love this yellow color, I don't care if you can't read it :p), a simple common name (even 3 of my classmates have same name with me), but I'm happy with this name. My mother told me that "Vania" means "A beautiful gift from God" (wooow! ;D)

I'm an 18 years old girl, a university student that still have a highschool-girl-mind.
I love drawing something unrealistic like cartoon or manga, but I take Communication as my major (weird, huh?). Writing is also my small passion :)

I always do my best at everything. I love my family, a lot. Maybe I am a family daughter because I prefer spend my time with my family than with my friends. (That doesn't mean I don't hang out with my friends, just saying).

I'm afraid to disappoint anybody. Sometimes, I mean, often, I become an overthinking person that worry about everything. One more, I rarely share my problems with my friends, almost never. I prefer keep all that stuff alone. Oops, you may think I am a gloomy person now. Please don't think like that! :D

Dream. Let's talk about my dream!
I have a super simple dream. I want to be a woman that loves to smile and lives her life happily :)
